Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026 · Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains how Rocketclad Studios ("we", "us") handles information when you use Liftoff Golf Academy (the "app") on iPhone, iPad, Android or the web. We're a small independent studio based in California, USA. Questions? Email privacy@rocketclad.com.
The short version
- Your golfers, scores, shot logs and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
- No account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your purchase is handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
1. Information the app handles
Data stored on your device
The app saves what you enter, such as golfer names and profiles, scorecards, rounds and saved courses, logged shots and your settings, in your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device and we have no copy of it. Because we don't run servers or accounts, we can't see, recover or transfer it.
Your purchase
Unlocking the full academy is a one-time in-app purchase processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. The app receives confirmation that you bought the unlock so it can turn on the full version and restore it later. We never receive your name, card number or billing address.
Fonts
The app loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your device connects to Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic browser or device information, as with any web request. Google states it doesn't use this to build profiles or show ads. See Google Fonts privacy and Google's privacy policy.
Sharing and copying
If you tap Share or Copy, the app hands the text to your device's share sheet or clipboard. It goes only where you choose to send it.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. When you use Contact support in the app, it pre-fills a short block you can see and edit before sending: the app version, your device type and browser or operating system version, and the screen you were on.
What we don't collect
The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It doesn't access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
2. How we use information
We use purchase confirmations to unlock and restore the app, and support emails to help you. That's it.
3. Who we share information with
We don't sell or share your personal information. The only outside services involved are Apple or Google for your purchase, Google Fonts as described above, and Zoho, our email provider, for support emails. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
4. How long we keep information
- On your device: until you erase it in the app's settings or delete the app.
- Support emails: as long as needed to help you, generally no longer than two years. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: use the erase option in Settings and support, or delete the app.
- Support emails: ask us to access or delete them at privacy@rocketclad.com.
California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information we hold about you, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. The only personal information we may hold is your email address and messages if you contacted us, and purchase confirmations from Apple or Google. We don't sell or share it. To make a request, email privacy@rocketclad.com; we'll respond within 45 days. The app doesn't track you, so Do Not Track signals don't change anything.
Outside the US: you can make the same requests wherever you live, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children
The app is meant for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone through the app itself. If a child has emailed us and you'd like that deleted, contact privacy@rocketclad.com.
7. Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts handling information differently, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change, and tell you in the app if it's significant.
