Terms of Use

1. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment and learning. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the apps or their content, except where the law allows it.

Apple devices: if you got an app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these terms, Apple's agreement wins for that app. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

Google Play: if you got an app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

2. Purchases and virtual items

• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, under their terms. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Virtual items in Liftoff Legacy, such as rocket coins, boosters and energy, are a limited license to use in the game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred or sold.
• Items that get used up, such as boosters, coins and energy, can't be restored once used. Subscriptions and the Liftoff Golf Academy unlock can be restored on the same Apple ID or Google account.
• Except where the law or the store's policy requires, purchases are final. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google; see our support page for how to ask.

3. Subscriptions (Liftoff Legacy)

• Liftoff Legacy offers optional monthly subscriptions, such as the Star Pass. The price and what's included are shown in the game before you subscribe.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the game doesn't cancel it.
• If a free trial is offered and you subscribe during it, any unused part of the trial ends when the paid subscription starts.
• If we ever change a subscription's price, Apple or Google will tell you first, as their rules require.

4. Ads

Liftoff Legacy may offer optional rewarded ads. Ads are provided by third parties, and we aren't responsible for the products or services they advertise.

5. Golf instruction

Liftoff Golf Academy offers general golf tips and information, not personal coaching or medical advice. Warm up, swing within your limits, and look out for people around you. The rules content is a plain-English guide, not an official ruling; for official rules see the USGA or The R&A.

6. Fair play

Please don't cheat, hack, exploit bugs, use bots, or interfere with the apps or other players. We may reset or remove items gained this way.

7. Our content

The apps, including their art, characters, music, text and code, belong to Rocketclad Studios or our licensors and are protected by law. "Rocketclad", "Liftoff Legacy" and "Liftoff Golf Academy" are names we use for our studio and products.

8. Changes and availability

We may update, change or stop offering an app or any feature, including virtual items, at any time. We'll try to give notice of big changes. We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date above, and continuing to use an app means you accept the new terms.

9. Disclaimers

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the apps will be error-free or always available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rocketclad Studios won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data or progress. Our total liability for any claim relating to an app is limited to the amount you paid us for that app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
